Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about ordering your plates. Can't find your answer? Just get in touch.

Yes. Our road-legal plates are made to British Standard BS AU 145e and supplied as a DVLA-registered number plate supplier, so they're fully MOT-compliant. We also offer show plates, which are clearly marked for off-road display only and are not road legal.

UK law requires us to confirm your identity and your entitlement to the registration before we make road-legal plates. During checkout you'll upload proof of identity (such as a passport or driving licence) and proof you can use the registration (such as your V5C logbook, a new keeper slip, or a dealer invoice). Show plates don't require any documents.

2D plates have flat printed characters — the classic legal look. 3D gel plates have domed resin letters that sit raised off the plate for a glossy, premium finish. 4D plates use laser-cut acrylic letters with sharp, uniform edges. 5D gel combines the 4D acrylic base with a glossy gel top for extra depth. We also offer double and triple-layer builds for an even bolder look.

Yes — all of our road-legal plates meet the current DVLA and British Standard requirements for character size, spacing, font and reflectivity, so they're MOT-ready. Just make sure the registration matches your vehicle's V5C.
